Zalem - Eponyme

Zalem played since 2004 a sort of heavy post-rock progressive without any voice. The group offers a music that sounds happy, sad, dark, often broken by distorted guitars, over a very loud and fat bass, and a massive drums. Interested in movies and movie soundtracks, the band walks the listener through long tracks where the melodic tension rises gradually. Zalem proposes on stage (when the extraterrestrial videographer has technical conditions ...) a bunch of fantastic vintage videos , which gives a visual interpretation (somewhere between Melies, the 50's TV programs, Laloux, the B series and movies of Ed Wood).
